Gents Favre Leuba Duomatic wrist watch
Gents Favre Leuba Duomatic wrist watch.
The watch has a good quality 21-jewel automatic movement, the FL1134, which is working nicely. The movement was first introduced in 1961 and we would date this particular watch to the second half of the 1960s.
The watch measures 36.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 34mm high excluding the lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is a little rubbing and marking if viewed closely.
The case back is signed Favre Leuba. It also states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. There is some scratching to the back where it has been removed in the past.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and day / date display. There is a little marking between 11 and 12, and very light general marking.
The day is set by winding the hands forwards until you reach the desired date, and the date is quickset by repeatedly pushing the winding crown.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
