Gents Omega Geneve wrist watch, 1970

Gents Omega Geneve wrist watch, 1970.
The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 613, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 32,701,208 which dates it back to 1970.
The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the plain winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition, just a couple of scratches to the case back but not too serious at all. The inside of the case back has the Omega logo together with the case reference 136.070 which is correct for the calibre 613.
The lens is in good condition, and it has the tiny clear Omega logo to the centre (there is some natural light reflection showing in the photos).
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds sweep and date display (initially set by pushing and pulling the crown). There is some marking on the dial.
The watch comes on a generic stainless steel bracelet which currently fits an 18cm wrist although there is capacity on the clasp to make it around 2cm larger. Light marking to the clasp.
The watch comes in an Omega presentation box… it looks as though the hinge has been repaired at some point, the box doesn’t quite close fully.
ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
Please contact us before placing international orders so that we can advise of shipping prices and to see if customs regulations allow us to post watches to your country.
The international buyer is responsible for paying any import duties and taxes.
All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.
Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the \'Buy Securely\' button on each listing page.
We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
