George 111 Mahogany Shaped Fronted Knife Box. The sloped hinged top having a double boxwood strung outline edges and a central oval inlaid panel of an urn vase with flowers. Plated drop ring handle to front over a shield shaped escutcheon. The side with brass shaped open plate swanneck handles. The interior having an ebony and boxwood inlaid star to lid and a fret cut cutlery holder with double stringing between the holes. The shaped body having the double outline stringing to the edges. On moulded base with baize lining.
