Antique George 111 Oak Mule Chest / Coffer and dating from around 1780. It has two panels to the top with a moulded edge above a brass lock escutcheon and two panels to the front both of which are inlaid with a mahogany lozenge design. Below are two drawers to the base which are pine lined and with original brass handles and lock escutcheons with a Mahogany Banding to the fronts. It stands on short cabriole legs and is joined by a shaped frieze.

Measures " High x " wide x " deep

In good condition with a lovely colour and patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
