A Genuine Georgian Country House piece bought directly from the owner of a Georgian Country House in Suffolk which had being its home for at least the past 100 years if not longer.
Of good thick cut solid English Oak construction this George II Era Chest on Stand Circa.1720-1740 retains its original Hand cut brass back plates, escutcheons and handles with its deep 9-draw layout.
With excellent patina and wood colour that you would expect from an antique of this period it is in solid original & genuine condition with some shrinking to the wooden planks on its sides... not unusual for a piece of this age (images available if required).
A lovely honest furniture piece of English Antique Oak it wouldn't sit out of place in most domestic settings, priced at a competitive price to sell.
