An attractive six drawer George III oak dresser base with six equally sized drawers. They are all fitted with brass swan neck handles, and cross banded with mahogany veneer. This George III dresser base dates from circa 1800, and stands upon square tapering legs. This dresser base has received some restoration work performed to it during its lifetime – we have shown this in the photos depicting the replacement boards to the back, and the oak framework to the rear has also been replaced. This piece is structurally sound. As this section would be placed against the wall, the restoration work would not be visible. This George III dresser base is ideal for any country or period interior.
