A very attractive 18th Century japanned corner cupboard with chinoiserie decoration featuring landscapes, flora and birds. The cupboard has very pretty original butterfly hinges and matching escutcheon plates. The internal lock is missing, but the original internal catches are intact and the doors open and hold closed well. There is a small gap to one of the backboards and a short minor split to one door and the lower edge of the cupboard. These can be seen in the photographs and are not detrimental to the appeal of the cupboard. The general surface decoration is in very good condition and the colour and patina are excellent. A very decorative and charming Georgian cupboard.
