George III Mahogany Hall Chair

Circa 1780, very stylish George III mahogany hall chair. The heraldic shaped one piece back has a wonderful gentle scoop in the centre. The solid seat is again carved and shaped, below is a front leg which is a solid trestle with a roundel in the centre united by a shaped stretcher and a similar shaped back. Chair is in excellent condition. Good colour, with the normal wear on the seat of a chair which has been kept in a hallway.
