This is a fine George III mahogany tray-top commode in excellent condition and retaining good colour and patina, circa 1790.

The tray-top with attractive pierced gallery sits above two cupboard doors and pull-out drawer under, all resting on reeded square-section legs joined by stretchers and completed by small brass castors.

The base has been converted into a drawer, probably sometime in the 20th Century, which makes this even more useful as a bedside cabinet.

Condition: Very good antique condition with some marks commensurate with age. All brassware appears to be original. Please contact us if you would like to see further photographs.
