For sale we have an attractive late 18th Century Sheraton period mahogany sewing table .
This octagonal table consists of a satin wood inlaid mahogany top with a crossbanded edge on an octagonal base containing a single drawer and a pull out fabric work box. The base is supported on four square tapering inlaid legs.
The table is 29 inches (73.6cm) high, 20 & 1/2 inches (52cm) long and 14 & 1/2 inches (36.8) wide. It is in a very good antique condition but has been renovated with a small square of oak veneer instead of mahogany veneer on the right hand front octagonal panel. The renovation has been well done and is not obvious.
