This is a handsome George IV mahogany chest of drawers with a good rich colour and nice features like the attractive turned columns to the sides and curved cap corners to the inlaid top. The chest has a bow front design with tasteful, later Georgian Regency style pierced brass handles and is raised on its original stoutly turned mahogany legs. The chest is in very good condition overall and is a practical size measuring 44" wide 47" high by 21" deep.
