A splendid rosewood open bookcase from the George IV period. Very well made in rosewood and with attractive rosewood veneers onto a mahogany carcas. The top is cross banded and sits over a pair of drawers within the freeze. There are two long shelves affording good display capacity. The shelves are flanked by columns complete with attractive corbels. A very practical piece of antique furniture with simple elegance. Offered for sale in very good original condition. There are some marks the top (see photo) which we could have polished out for you at no cots should you desire.
