Rare Arts & Crafts Glasgow school elbow chair designed by George Walton. A design made for Miss Cranston's Tea rooms in Buchanan Street, Glasgow and most likely made by William Birch of High Wycombe.
Beautifully wide outstretched arms and a pierced heart to top. Offered in good original condition and delightfully comfortable to sit in. Historic repair to back otherwise good and very firm.
Height 83cms. Width at arms 68cms. Width at front of seat 54cms. Seat height 42cms PLEASE NOTE, RED HOUSE ANTIQUES HAS NOW RETIRED.
