Georgian 18C oak mule chest coffer blanket box
Antique Georgian 18C oak mule chest, coffer or blanket box.
Solid, heavy and strong, with no loose joints and the drawers slide freely.
Full of character and rustic country charm.
Two candle boxes.
Overall maximum dimensions
132cmW x 55cmD x 80cmH, internally 121cmL x 45cmW x 49cmH (less space occupied by candle boxes).
Historic knocks, marks, scratches, cracks, repairs and alterations as is always the way. Extinct woodworm holes as would be expected, that have been treated for good measure. Later castors, but with some age. No Lock or key. The crossbanding to the drawers fronts has been repaired a lot over the years. Later non-identical handles.
