Georgian Antique English Rush Light
18th Century Antique Rush Light.
This Georgian antique rush light has a wrought iron twisted stem with a rush nip on side for everyday use and with a candle holder on the other for special, occasional use as candles were very expensive then.
The conical base is solid elm, a lovely colour, there is evidence of old woodworm.
