Georgian Antique Painted Oak Chest of Drawers
An oak two over two chest of drawers circa 1800.
This useful piece of antique furniture has been restored in our own workshop with a replacement paint finish completed in a style sympathetic to the period. A multi tonal grey with a blue/green line detail has been distressed and waxed to produce a fantastic time worn appearance. Original turned wooden handles are present with the additional detail of old maps used as drawer liners.
Please don't confuse our restored furniture with hand painted pieces. We select each item for its design merits and quality prior to the applications of coloured lacquers and hand finishing with bees wax. All of the works are completed by a french polisher.
