Georgian Antique Silversmiths Wooden Spoon Moulder.
This early 19th century antique tall tree stump was originally used for generations in a Georgian silversmiths for making spoons.
Probably birch wood, the top features various shaped hollows, these were used to form the shallow bowl part of the spoon and ladles.
A very unusual piece of Georgian spoon making history, whilst also being a sculptural item.
