Georgian Bow Fronted Stick Barometer
A fine quality Georgian bow fronted mercury stick barometer. Choice burr walnut case veneers. The original cistern cover with an ebonised finial. Stepped mouldings to the case pediment and convex bevelled glass to the main dial. Twin vernier scale adjusters to show rise/fall in pressure via twin knobs below. A long thermometer scale in bone/ivorine with the original flat mercury thermometer. An elegant Georgian bow fronted barometer circa 1825.
