Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to present for sale this fine quality George III period small silver christening mug
This elegant Georgian mug is of plain round body with two bands of hand-chased reeded decoration, an applied reeded top border, a loop handle and sits on a flat base, embellished with a gilt wash interior.
Please note that this mug has been repaired, please see the condition report listed below.
A highly displayable and attractive example which would make a fine gift or addition to any quality silverware collection.

Condition Report:
In overall good condition for its age of 217 years however there has been a repair at the front where an old engraving has been cut out, there has also been an old repair near near the handle. There are age related scratches and tarnish marks, this is still a highly presentable Georgian example that looks excellent on display.
