An unusual antique Georgian mahogany chair with gothic arch back rails and fluted legs. With carved top rail and gothic arch back rails, standing on elegantly fluted legs united by turned cross stretcher (a later addition). The stuff-over seat has been newly recovered in a cream brocade fabric witch matching braid. Solid and sturdy, would make a wonderful desk chair.

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy. Some old mends and splits to the gothic arched back splats (see photos). Newly recovered over existing upholstery which is fairly new. A few old worm holes under the seat rails.
