Antique Georgian Regency inlaid mahogany bow front chest of drawers
This is a lovely chest, that is full of age, charm and character.
No loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely.
Good shape and proportions.
Rare, with a great colour and amazing crossbanded flame mahogany drawer fronts.
Attractive trafalgar twist column decoration to either side.
No significant woodworm.
Overall maximum dimensions 97cmW x 56cmD x 107cmH.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Old blue paper linings with marks and stains to the insides of the drawers as usual. There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested (lock missing from the bottom drawer). Later handles. Some historic cracks, but all are old, stabilized and wax filled.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
