This is a very good and rare Georgian bedside cabinet. The bedside is made in solid mahogany and dates to the reign of George III around 1810. The bedside cabinet is particularly elegant. It has a tambour front to the cupboard. This is in good condition which is rare. Air holes were cut in to the back when it was made. Beneath is a drawer. The drawer has its original brass drawer pull and the drawer is made as you would expect with fine dovetail joints. The cabinet stands on elegant tapering reeded legs.

The cabinet is in good condition. There is a crack running across the top which has been repaired at some time - see photo.

This bedside will look good in a bedroom furnished in period antiques.

The bedside cabinet is 15.5 inches wide and 15.5 inches deep and stands 29 inches high.
