Georgian Mahogany Breakfront Wardrobe

This is a top quality Georgian mahogany and inlaid breakfront gentleman's wardrobe or press.
With a moulded dentil cornice and satinwood box line inlay to the frieze below, each of the doors are edged in stringing with further fine line inlay and crossbanding to the panels. The doors have brass 'twist to open' handles, brass escutcheons and catches to the top and bottom of the centre left door. There are locks (but no key) and the whole piece stands on a base with bracket feet.
The side doors open to reveal full length sections each with five adjustable/removable shelves and three hooks to the top. The shelves fit into grooved runners and there are plenty of positions to choose from. The centre section has an oak lined drawer to the base with hanging space and hooks to the top. The shelf grooves that were present to the sides have been filled in but could probably be removed quite easily if you wanted to fit shelves.
The overall dimensions at the largest points are approximately
W 227cm (89 3/8in) at cornice
D 49cm (19 1/4in) at centre cornice
D 39.5cm (15 5/8in) at side cornice
