Georgian Mahogany Bureau Bookcase

A magnificent 18th-century Georgian bureau bookcase, well-proportioned, offering both elegant design and functional storage.
Designed for practicality, the bookcase comes in two pieces for ease of transportation and placement.
The upper section features 2 panelled doors in rich Cuban mahogany, adorned with a beautifully figured grain.
The doors open to reveal a spacious interior fitted with height-adjustable shelves, making it versatile for books and with working lock and key.
The lower section has a fall-front bureau opening to reveal a new hand-dyed leather writing surface, edged with delicate tooling.
The well-appointed interior includes, 8 pigeonholes for letters and documents.
8 small drawers, perfect for storing writing materials and valuables.
