Superb Georgian mahogany chest of drawers in excellent untouched condition. There is some sun decolouration (shown in pictures) however this does not affect its use, it is a clean solid chest of drawers. An arrangement of 4 long graduating drawers with serpentine shaped fronts. Its canted sides apron and drawers are decorated with delicate string inlay. All drawers have decorative metal swan neck handles and escutcheons and are made in the traditional way with dovetail joints. This is a striking example of period furniture offering a lot of storage space and history to any home.
A classic Christmas gift for the home that values craftsmanship and character.
