Fine quality and rare Georgian mahogany corner chair, having upstand to top rail and supported by fretted splats and turned uprights. Dated c. 1800.

This very good quality Georgian mahogany corner chair is in excellent condition. Made from solid mahogany, which has aged beautifully it has a horse-shoe shaped back with broad arm rests, central back rest, pierced splats and solid square legs.

There are a few knocks to the legs and light scratches to the wood as you would expect with a piece of this age (see photos) but nothing which affects the overall appearance and testament to the craftsmanship of this lovely chair. The fretted splats are in perfect condition.

The upholstery is in an excellent clean condition too, but it would be easy to replace as the seat simply pops out (see images).

A fabulous Georgian piece of antique furniture in excellent antique condition delivered polished and ready for the home.
