Georgian Mahogany Linen Press Wardrobe Armoire
Antique Georgian mahogany linen press, wardrobe or armoire.
This piece has recently had the slides removed and a hanging rail installed. The top two drawers are now dummies to permit taller items to be hung.
This is a lovely period wardrobe, that is full of age and character.
Oak lined drawers that slide freely (later quality oak drawer bottoms and handles).
Splits into two halves for transport.
Quality brass door strip and attractive ogee bracket feet.
No significant woodworm.
There is no key and the locks are consequently untested.
Lovely patina and would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 133cmW x 63cmD x 192cmH (82cmH base + 110cmH top).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture.
