Georgian Mahogany Sideboard Gillows
Fine late Georgian III mahogany sideboard with central silver drawer below a cutlery drawer with central panel decorated with gadroon edging. These are flanked by 2 bowed cellarette drawers fitted with oak compartments. The top has a compartmented gallery for glasses. The whole is brass inlaid and retains an excellent colour and patina. The gadrooning, reeded legs and oak lining and overall high quality especially of the veneers point to it being by Gillows of Lancaster .
Attributed to GILLOWS OF LANCASTER & LONDON (1730-1903.
