Fine quality George III mahogany tripod supper table c.1790. 30" diameter solid single piece mahogany of lovely colour and grain. Revolving on a 'bird cage' mechanism with turned columns, the top can also be tipped to vertical when not in use, locking into place with the original brass catch. Over a fine turned column with crisp twist carved section, raised on shaped tripod legs with pointed feet. Excellent colour and condition, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
