A charming antique George III gothic carved and inlaid hanging oak corner cupboard. Having a moulded cornice above a single panelled door inlaid and centred with shell paterae and featuring fancy brass butterfly hinges. It comes with working lock and key and has an attractive brass escutcheon the to keyhole. The door opens to reveal storage inside with three shaped shelves and a dark brown painted finish. It has been later stained and carved in the Victorian period in the Gothic taste. Dating from circa 1800.
Construction/Wood:
Stained oak with mahogany and exotic wood inlay.
Condition Report:
Good condition with general wear and marks commensurate with age. Lock is a replacement.
