George III oak open dresser base c.1800. Just over six and a half feet long, the two plank top with a moulded and mahogany crossbanded edge. Three large drawers, the fronts also crossbanded in mahogany, with original brass escutcheons and replacement knobs. Simple shaped detail to the apron below the drawers and cupid's bow bottom edge at the sides. Raised on elegantly tapering turned front legs with good Georgian pad feet. Oak side panels. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
