Georgian Oak Mule Chest Blanket Box
This lovely antique mule chest is a nice country piece and looks to date from the early nineteenth century. It is constructed from solid oak with hinged top which opens to reveal an open interior. There are two drawers underneath. The lid and drawers retain locks, but please note that no keys are present. The chest is supported on bracket feet.
Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, scratching, knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall a little faded. There is some shrinkage cracking in places, and some marking and staining to the top. No keys are present.
The approx measurements are as follows:
