Antique quality Georgian revival (C1900- 1920) mahogany bureau bookcase, desk or writing table.

This is a lovely quality item, that is full of age, charm and character. A very decorative piece that a tremendous amount of work went into.

We have a keys to fit the glazed doors and fall front (a little sticky).

Solid with no loose joints and all of the mahogany lined drawers slide freely. No woodworm.

Great age and patina. Splits into two halves for transport.

Overall maximum dimensions 108cmW x 50.5cmD x 221cmH (77cmH writing surface).
Adjustable shelves 93cmW x 21cmD.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are some stains inside the drawers as is to be expected. The baise is old, with some wear and marks (could replace for £50, please call if required).

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
