Rarely do these swords come up for sale , when they do they are normally snapped up straight away ,
The British Naval customs sword , circa 1790/1810
It has the customs crest to both sides of the sword , when the blade is cleaned back it is also present on the blade,
Comes with the original scabbard , the pipeback blade is quite pitted but should clean up a lot better ,
