Here is an attractive Georgian style cherry wood leather 3ft-writing table, circa late 20th century, in good original condition.

Here is an attractive Georgian style cherry wood leather 3ft-writing table, circa late 20th century, in good original condition. The top of the table has features a good quality green and gold tool leather, flanked by figured cherry wood banding on cherry veneer frame. The edge of the desktop is finished with thumb moulding edge. Below, sits a single working dovetailed drawer. The drawer features the original metal swan neck handles and its original working lock and key. The table sits on four pretty square tapering legs, which terminate on brass castor cups and brass castors. Avonex Furniture Ltd. of Cirencester, England, built this writing table. This is a classic style taken from the English Georgian period and it would make a beautiful writing table or small desk.
This table features a light cherry wood colour. It has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
This item would compliment any home, office or library and is ideal as either a library table writing table or desk or even a dressing table. So, don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture!

The table and leather are both in good original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and leather, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There are no rips or tears to the original leather. The polish to the cherry wood is also in original condition. The drawer features its original working lock and key and metal handles. The table stands firm on the ground on its original metal castors it does not wobble. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.

Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks depending on location we aim to deliver the majority of items within 2 weeks. All items are professionally packaged and fully insured in transit therefore, we can assure you, your items will be securely protected in transit and arrive safely with you.
Once you have purchased an item, we will contact you by email and/or telephone and provide you with a provisional delivery date, in order for you to confirm if it is suitable for you.
