Antique large quality C1800 Georgian tall ebonised and gilt hall wall mirror.
This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character. Gilt and ebonised wood and gesso frame. Quite a delicate design that has survived remarkably well.
Would look amazing in the right location... quite impressive. Rare and desirable.
The mirrored glass has light to medium oxidation and defects (old, but unsure whether original).
Overall maximum dimensions: 128cmH x 56cmW x 8cmD.
Mirrored glass 87cmH x 40cmW.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with antique furniture. Some historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure. Some minor decorative losses and the frame has been historically touched up here and there (some original gilding remains).
