German Imperial Officers Sword

A German imperial officers sword. The scabbard has lost most of its black finish. The plated hilt also has some losses and staining and the grip wire is a little skew-whiff. The blade is very good with nice etching and a blued panel on both sides with one side in Germanic script giving the rank of the swords owner and the other side with cannons and mounted Artillery. Post cost will be sixteen pounds. The sword does show considerable wear but the blade in my opinion cancels this wear out.
