Stunning German art nouveau polished pewter claret jug by WMF, c.1900. Beautiful organic lines with cast detail of stylised flowers and trailing vines. A brass pin adds a striking detail to the hinge. Set on 4 scrolled feet, the base and inside are gilded. Stamped to the base with a star, "WMFB 99" and "I/0"

It measures 31cm high, 16cm handle to spout and 15cm across the base. Condition is very good with no damage or repair and light surface wear appropriate for age. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
