German WW1 Infantry Officer's sword in its black steel scabbard. Has a steel hilt with lion pommel. Has the coat of arms of Saxony on the guard. Brass 'AR' crest to the hilt and a shield on the reverse side of the hilt engraved 'WA'. Has Silver wire bound black composition grip with a curved single edged plated blade. In good sound condition.

Approximately 95.5cm overall and blade length 78cm.
