A beautiful gilt Stratton " Mini-Convertible " powder compact in excellent condition. The lid is decorated with gilt highly stylized floral motifs. There isn't any loss of design. The lid opens to reveal a mirror which gives an excellent and accurate reflection. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The powder well is lined with a pristine waxed paper insert. The base is decorated with a design the makers named the " Woven effect " & signed " Stratton ENGLAND ".
This convertible powder compact is suitable for modern solid / pressed face powders or as a handbag mirror
