Antique quality Gillows late Victorian / Edwardian serpentine front inlaid mahogany sideboard.

This is a lovely rare piece....almost understated style that exudes quality, charm and grace.

Stamped 'Gillows of Lancaster' on the drawer edge (suggesting pre-1903, when they became Waring and Gillow).

Solid, heavy with no loose joints. The mahogany lined drawer and doors all work as they should.

No woodworm.

Overall maximum dimensions 147cmW x 46cmD x 89cmH.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. No keys and the locks are untested. Missing a little inlay along the leading edge at the sides of the top....this has been filled and finished, so not very noticeable.
