Gilt French striking Cartel Clock
An attractive gilt bronze cartel antique clock, dating from the late 19th century, its original gilding being in super condition.
The case is ornately decorated with trailing flowers and acanthus leaves, with areas of trellis work which are open but could be backed with coloured silk to suit a decor.
The original white enamelled dial is in perfect condition. It has blue Roman numerals and black Arabic five minute markers, with elaborate matching gilt hands.
The twin train movement has outside countwheel striking on a bell. It is fully overhauled and guaranteed for 3 years.
