Giltwood Serpentine Suite in French Manner c.1880

A very beautiful and fine Victorian gilded suite with two arm chairs of generous proportions and an elegant three seater settee - all of exceptional quality and in excellent original condition.
Well padded and very comfortable, the upholstery fabric is a thick woven silk mix in an Oxford blue with cream/gold foliate pattern and is in excellent condition also with no noticeable wear or marks.
The whole suite is extremely heavy and well made with tight joints throughout, the chairs and settee are very comfortable indeed, and the gilding is original with only a few areas of light wear as shown in our photographs.
A superb example, strikingly beautiful and well cared for all of its life.
Dimensions are:
(The armchairs)
29 inches wide, 29 inches deep and 44 inches high.
(The settee)
74 inches wide, 29 inches deep, 44 inches high.
Floor to seat on both the armchairs and settee is 17 inches.
For metric please multiply by 2.5 I describe and photograph my pieces accurately and with the aim that on arrival each will exceed expectations.
I operate a full refund guarantee and am always happy to give free, honest and friendly advice.
