Gold case, cylinder - Taylor, London 1820


A very attractive and excellent quality London cylinder watch, in exceptional original condition. Beautiful multicoloured dial and ornate 18 carat gold case.
MOVEMENT Fine cylinder movement, fully signed and numbered (7419). Diamond endstone and blued screws. All in very fine original condition and running well. All protected by a removable locking gilt dustcap.
DIAL Multicoloured gold dial, with engine turned engraving to the centre. Perfect condition. Nice blued steel Breguet style hands.
CASE 18ct gold. Hallmarks for London, 1820, maker WB. Engine turned back with solid cast band, stem and bow. The gold is in very good condition and hinges and catches are fine. No repairs, very little wear and just a couple of very light bruises to the back. The crystal is fine with just some very light scratches.
Overall a fine London cylinder watch in exceptional condition. The total weight is 93 gms.
