A nice Gold Filled Gentlemans Hunter Cased Pocket Watch made by the Elgin Watch Co USA and dating from 1907.
The case has lovely decorative engraving to both front and rear, the front having a central shield shaped cartouche that is free of initials. The case was made by the Philadelphia Watch Case Co and was "Guaranteed 20 Years". A good quality watch case.
The dial signed "Elgin" with the Hours in Roman numeral and the minutes in red.
The movement is in good condition and working order. It is signed "Elgin Nat'l Watch Co., USA" and has the serial number 13,223826 dating the watch to c1907.
