This is a very good, clean, solid oak, Arts and Crafts open bookcase ready to go in to your home.

The bookcase dates to around 1900. The design is very dramatic with something architectural about it with the long top shelf supported on shaped brackets with a curved splat to the back.

The bookcase has many elements of Arts and Crafts design from the period. It stands on shaped feet with fixed oak shelves. It is tall and dramatic with a lot of presence. This will look very good when filled with books.

Condition good antique. Joints solid. No worm. Oak a good polished colour.

The bookcase is 58 inches high and 36 inches wide and 12 inches deep at the feet. The shelves are 8 inches deep and are 9.5 inches and 9 inches and 8.5 inches and 7.5 inches high.
