This is an elegant pair of French garden planters in cast iron dating from around 1870. The rectangular planters have a classical shape with four outswept feet to each and stylised foliate decoration and grand central wreath design. These are very heavy and are in excellent condition. The planters are painted in an attractive shade of verdigris and have good definition to the casting. They each measure 72 cms long, 36 cms high and 36 cms deep
