A good quality 19th century Chinese gong, the hardwood stand intricately carved with a stylised bat (Chinese symbol for joy and happiness) amongst pierced foliage with shaped supports and carved block feet. The circular bronze gong suspended from the centre with beater. Good deep sound when struck. Condition - Very good. Dimensions:- Height...33.25''/ 84.5cm. Width...20.25''/ 51cm. Depth...12.5''/ 32cm.
