Good Quality Provincial Regency Mahogany Chest
Very tidy not over large regency period mahogany chest of 3 graduated draws with gallery top on bracket feet .Although a country made piece it features most of the refinements of its city built cousins .Constructed on a pine carcass with well selected mahogany veneers,lovely detail with the ebonized line to draw fronts and reeded detail to top and bottom mouldings with polished pine sides in good condition through out with original lion mask handles although the bottom left has a period replacement ring ,There are historical restorations to both rear feet and stringing .
