This is good, finely detailed Kashan carpet in super condition dating from around 1920. The large oval cartouche has a deep indigo field with with scrolling vines and central medallion. This is framed by madder floral borders and sky blue guard stripes. This is a really great example with exceptional detail to the design. It is in very good condition overall for its age with only some slight wear to the fringe ends. The carpet is a good room size measuring 380 cms by 267 cms .
